Located in the heart of Canada’s largest health-care research network, our faculty offer quality education to students who receive training in biomedical and clinical engineering. These highly experienced faculty have been involved in launching more than 20 start-up companies and driving three major biomedical engineering commercialization ventures. The Administrative Assistant – Undergraduate and Graduate Programs positon will report directly to the Education Officer. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact, in the unit, for all enquiries from (prospective and current) students pertaining to their academic programs and will help guide students through their learning journeys by responding to questions and providing information about program requirements, curriculum pathways, and degree completion activities. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist with unit records management (e. g. data collection, entry, organization, etc. ) and course scheduling. The Administrative Assistant will work collaboratively as an integral member of the Academic Programs Office to anticipate, identify, and resolve student conflicts to help the unit deliver a positive, impactful, and transformative student learning.
